Ulrike Steiner is scientist and lecturer at the Institute of Crop science and Resource conservation – Phytomedicine, Plant diseases and Plant Protection, University of Bonn.
- Habilitation at the University of Bonn, Germany, Faculty of Agriculture
- PhD (Dr. rer. hort.) at the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany
- Degree in Biology from University of Hannover, Germany
She is an expert in plant pathology and plant disease diagnostic. Her research focuses on the understanding of the pathogenesis of fungi and host pathogen interactions. Her research interests include integrated pest management approaches against phytopathogens in greenhouse and field environments. She has experience in experimental design for the development of innovative plant protection strategies and biocontrol agents. She is a specialist for microscopic techniques and
non-invasive sensor application.
